The short version: We collect your email to send you electricity price alerts. We pull price and carbon data from public APIs and we declare exactly which ones below. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete everything at any time.
AgileAlert is operated by Maheshika Halbeisen, trading as AgileAlert. We run the website at agilealert.co.uk, which shows live Octopus Agile electricity price information and sends optional price alert notifications to UK households.

We do not collect your name, home address, phone number, smart meter readings, or any data about your actual energy usage.
AgileAlert displays data from the following public APIs. We declare these clearly because transparency matters to us:
Price data updates every 30 minutes as published by Octopus Energy. We make no warranty that displayed prices are accurate or complete. Always verify with your energy supplier before making financial decisions based on this data.
We use browser localStorage to remember your chosen UK electricity region between visits. This stores only a region code (e.g. "H" for South West England) and contains no personal information. It is not a tracking cookie and is not shared with anyone.
We do not currently use any advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and add a cookie consent banner.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would prefer the chance to resolve any concern directly first - please contact us before escalating.
The entire site uses HTTPS. Email addresses are stored in encrypted databases. Payment data never touches our servers - it is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-DSS certified infrastructure. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate steps to protect your information.
We will update this page when our data practices change. For material changes affecting your rights, we will email you before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
